The greatest manifestation
The term "Manifest" is often used in our New Age culture, which is full of curiousity and postmodernism. People be like, yeah, I'm manifesting this or that. They say, "I'm speaking this thing into existence or whatever the case may be." I'm sure you have heard the saying plenty of times. Now there is indeed a lot of power in the human tongue and spoken word when one believes. I have actually seen some people who are not even of the faith speak on doing many things beforehand, and lo and behold, it comes into fruition! To declare something, focus on it, and persevere until you see happen certainly happens. Lol, I believe many people even operate spiritually a lot of times, unknowingly. But of course there are different levels and dimensions of spirituality. Well, what exactly does the Word "manifest" even mean?
Let's look
Manifest definition- 1. Clear or obvious to the eye or mind.
2. Display or show (a quality or feeling) by one's acts. To demonstrate. To reveal
Overall, it means to make evident or distinct. To reveal or demonstrate. To express, present or declare.
I remember one time in college we were playing in a big basketball game against a rival HBCU. I remember not playing that well in the game but my teammates kept us afloat for the most part even though i was the normal leading scorer. We got to late in the second half and I started to come alive and get buckets.... Then, we got to the last few minutes of the game. It was me and the other main guy of the opposite team going back and fourth with tough buckets.... With about 10 seconds left, the other team scored a bucket to tie the game. My coach called a timeout. As I sat there, I envisioned myself hitting the game winning basket. My coach (who was Instrumental in me getting saved) drew up an isolation play for me with the ball at the top of the key. The timeout was over and it was time to finish the game. With the ball at the top of the key and time running out, I took several dribbles into free throw area (the elbow) and pulled up for the mid range jumper. It rattled around for a few moments and went in! The crowd roared in amazement and so did I and my teammates! It was an exhilarating experience. But I saw it in my mind before it happened. I so-called “MANIFESTED” it.
Well, even before the the foundation (beginning) of this world, God LOVED you, and CHOSE you, in Christ (Yeshua Hamashiach). He wanted to MANIFEST His great love towards us even though we were in darkness; despondent & dead in our sins and trespasses... We were all children of wrath, without hope and without God in this world. BUT GOD made us alive TOGETHER, raised us up TOGETHER, and seated us TOGETHER in the heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS (Eph 2). Stand in awe of who He is and what He's done... Stand in awe of the righteous One who knew no sin, yet became our sin so that WE may become the righteousness of God that was in Him....
And all of this has nothing to do with us so we can't boast. We can't take any credit at all because it was GOD who manifested and directed all of this.
May the Spirit of the living God touch you as you slowly read these verses about the Manifestation of the Love of God, The Greatest Manifestion:
"In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. -I John 4:9-10
The Love of God for His children was visibly demonstrated (manifested) through Jesus' work on the cross on our behalf.
“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. -John 3:16 AMP
God says that every person is greatly loved and dearly prized.... God's love is not restricted to any one nation or any spiritual elite. It is for ALL.
And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love. -1 Corinthians 13:13 AMP
Love is the greatest. God bless you
